Okay listen chaps, if you get the blank screen problem:
- 1. Leave 1 window of the game up and open a second window and log in.
- 2. It will kick your old client window off (don't close it until you get logged in successfully in the new window) and tell you account is on another client.
- 3. Log in again in the new client and it will fix blank screen with no queue.
This reasoning for this method is that you have a set amount of time, i'm guessing around 5 minutes, to connect back through the authentication server to bypass the queues.
If you aren't able to pass the login screen in about 10-15 seconds after opening new client: I have found it works best to close client and re-open and try to log in until you get back in. Time is of the essence. What is the alternative at this time? Sit in the blank screen forever? It has not magically loaded for anyone to my knowledge.
This isn't 100% and usually depends on getting through the authentication immediately, but it has worked for me 2 or 3 times out of 5.
It has also been reported ( /u/DMonkeh ): Go to (C:)> users > "user name" > appdata > roaming > NCSoft > Wildstar
Delete everything in that folder. This is a fix for if you're coming from beta I assume, but it fixed my blank character screen problem.
